How to change StumbleUpon password without downloading it’s toolbar?
So in your case, you can make a music transfer from your iPod to the iTunes in your rebuilt computer with this tool and also make a backup for the ipod’s content somewhere in your rebuilt computer as well.
There is a note that needs your attention, you have to turn off the auto sync of the iTunes before you can make this transfer.
for your convenience,i’ll add the links here
so it has therefore fallen into the three party developers to pick up where iTunes left off in this regard. and i give a high recommendation to Aniosoft iBackup, which is very robust and full-featured utilitie that will do everything from basic coping of media content back to your hard drive all the way through to rebuilding your entire library using the info on your iPod,complete with playlists, ratings ,and play count info.
There are some advantages of a Mac
One of the major being there are hardly any viruses at all the effect them cause almost noone writes them for Mac…
Also you can run virtual PC which allows you to run windows/windows required products which sadly the Mac tends to run more stable than a PC does.
The main advantages of a PC is you can more easily obtain one (that is price wise) and you typically dont have to worry about compatablity like on a Mac.
In the end though… unless you are doing things that take a true demand on your comp, then PC is fine (art rendering… Video/Music editing… just for afew examples)
You can usually also choose the “soft” subtitle track, such as French, Chinese, or whatever. In that case, you would see two written languages at times.
Why are you using RealPlayer to play a DVD? Open DVD Player instead.
Someone made a weird DVD. If this is a commercially made DVD, it would only play one audio track at a time. I have never in my life come across a DVD that plays two language tracks at the same time, and I own more than 200 DVD movies. When DVD Player first opens the disc, you should see a menu. Choose “Setup” or similar phrasing. Choose the audio track that you want to hear. Choose the subtitles track that you want to see (or “off” if you don’t want to see the subtitles).
I would suggest using MPEG Streamclip. Just open your file, then choose to file export to mpeg 4 and from there you can pick a preset size or manually enter the size you need. (ipod uses 320-by-240-pixel resolution)
How do I export my stumbleupon favorites to someone else?
it enables you to transfer iPod’s music and other content to any storage device and iTunes as well. And both the backup in the storage device can be recovered and restored with no any change and no any risk. And the data in the iTunes is quite in accord with the iPod’s data including its playlists, rating and etc.
Although iTunes program is very good at keeping a computer-based library synchronized to an iPod automatically it provides exreamly limited functionality for transferring info in the opposite direction-from your iPod back to your computer. one of the likely reasons for Apple to have taken such a restrictive approach to this is to combat piracy and thereby maintain good relations with the music brands that are selling their selling their content via Apple iTunes Store. Among all these apps i would like to recommend Aniosoft ibackup.
if all ur songs are purchased then you can transfer them but then if the arnt purchased then u will lose all of ur songs.
If some of your songs were from other sources, you will need to utilize some iPod transfer program to help you, like this handy one called Tansee iPod Transfer
I think you’ll have to use some programs to manage both libraries. Try searching for some; I recall at least two free ones.
file sharing is illegal. itunes doesn’t want you to collect songs from your family and friends to put on your ipod.stick with one computer.
Yes, if the songs were purchased from iTunes store, you can use “Transfer Purchases” option to transfer.
no if you do it will take all ur songs off from one computer and then it will be deleted.
You may try this ipod transfer, it’s a nice iTunes alternative that can help you manage iPod files including delete, upload, play, copy, etc. It’s much easier to use than iTunes. It can also help you manage multiple iPods on one computer or manage iPod on multiple computers, even copy music and video from iPod back to computer or iTunes. So you will not lose your iPod files even though you switch to a new iTunes library. My friends recommend it to me, it works pretty well.
You can try this software to backup the stuffs in your iPod/iPhone/iTouch. Recover lost or missing music, backup and restore all of your iPod/iPhone/iTouch content, including your favorite songs, videos, photo files and Play Lists, and that’s not all. It is easy to transfer your ipod movie, music, photo to another iPod or iTunes with this iPod transfer software
Is there a way to set a quick launch button on your computer to activate the stumble button for stumbleupon?
In addition, there’s one more thing should be mentioned when you do the conversion—the iPhone supported formats. I’m used to skimming over some forums about iPhone, and always read some questions like“Why the song, video, or other items won’t play?” here I’m will to speaking more about iPhone-compatible file formats.
Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer.
More importantly, it won’t overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names are preserved. This is quite a special feature it ensures. It needs a small fee, but I think it’s worth it.
You can make it and all you need is a third party utility which i recommend Aniosoft ibackup. It enables you to transfer iPod’s music and other content to any storage device and iTunes as well. And both the backup in the storage device can be recovered and restored with no any change and no any risk. And the data in the iTunes is quite in accord with the iPod’s data including its playlists, rating and etc.
So in your case, you can make a music transfer from your iPod to the iTunes in your laptop with this tool and also make a backup for the ipod’s content somewhere in your laptop as well as backup file in case of the hard drive crash.
if you wanna free program i’d recommend yamipod, but with crash-prone defect.
There is a note that needs your attention, you have to turn off the auto sync of the iTunes before you can make this transfer.
Try this software, it is free NO TRIAL and I even used to copy over a 1000 of my songs to my PC. Its a zip file so you need to right click it after downloading and exact it then the application is in the new folder.
You can use an ipod to iTunes transfer program to help.I personally use this iPhone/iTouch/iPod to Computer/iTunes Transfer software. It helps me to transfer my songs/videos/photos from ipod to my computer iTunes directly and safely. It works well for me,you can give it a try.
Try iDump, it’s free. But it does not support iPod Touch.
I personally used Tansee iPod Transfer

“Stumble!” button on the toolbar of the browser. StumbleUpon chooses which to display the Web page based on user ratings of previous pages, ratings of his friends, and the opinions of users with similar interests. Now I’m paranoid though. It would be relatively easy for someone to create a virus which installs upon visiting a URL and then submit the URL to StumbleUpon which people would then get by being directed to the URL by StumbleUpon… Is there any way to protect myself from this, or is that the risk of using StumbleUpon?
just dont download anything- a virus cannot get onto your system without you running it. if you are paranoid then you can use sandboxie which will “sandbox” firefox so that no viruses can get out of the sandbox and onto your system
Try right-clicking on one of the existing toolbars, then select Stumbleupon Toolbar
StumbleUpon also allows users to specify their interests from a list of almost 500 subjects to produce relevant content to the user. There are also one click blogging built in as well.
Step1: Import your video. Get your video onto your computer any way you need too. Open Windows Movie Maker.
Step2: Edit your AVI video. Open your storyboard by clicking “View storyboard.” Your storyboard will be your timeline and where you will do most of your editing. For you movie folks we can call it your “cutting room floor.” To put your video in the storyboard, drag it from your library to the storyboard. Click the plus sign on your timeline so you can see video and audio lines. If you want to add extra audio to your piece, import it the same way you did your video.
Step3: Play your AVI video and watch for where you want to cut and delete the extraneous video. Place your timeline cursor (the blue line that crosses perpendicular to the timeline) where you want to cut your video and split it by choosing “Edit split.” Split your original video as many times as you want. Once you split the video you see the rest of the original video in your library. Delete the video you don’t want by pressing “Delete” on your keyboard.
How do I clear StumbleUpon searches in Firefox?
The popular social network StumbleUpon has lost a lot of steam when it comes to referral traffic. Since January 2009, Stumble Referral traffic is down by more than 66% according to Google Analytics. Back in January 2009, our friends and subscribers were close to the same numbers today, but under a different account.
I know some people may say that your friends hardly have any subscribers, but that is not the case. Of the 100 friends, more than 30% have more than 150 subscribers and 20% have at least 50 to 100 subscribers.
Why has the referral traffic from StumbleUpon fallen off? I know this has nothing to do with the original owners buying back StumbleUpon from Amazon. It’s hard to figure out why the referral traffic has dropped off, but it has significantly. Here are actual analytics from January 2009 compared to June 2009.

The above image shows the traffic stats from the StumbleUpon toolbar to SEOmoz since the beginning of the year. While these numbers are by no means overwhelmingly large, my impressions of StumbleUpon is that the traffic is fantasticaly well-targeted, savvy and looking for viral content. Stumblers tend to have accounts at Digg, Del.icio.us, Reddit and others and more than once, I’ve seen Stumble traffic lead to a re-surgence of traffic to a particular site or page that Stumblers have given high marks.
To be honest, I’m also a user of the toolbar. I have it installed on my laptop, home machine and work computer and will occasionally “stumble” while chatting on the phone, waiting for a process or when I feel burned out. It may seem counterintuitive to use the web for random navigation – something that only Stumbleupon offers – but to me, it’s relaxing, fun and exposes me to content I’d never see on my own.

How do I stop Kabbalah videos from playing on StumbleUpon?
Written by Peter Morville, author of the groundbreaking Information Architecture for the World Wide Web, the book defines our current age as a state of unlimited findability. In other words, anyone can find anything at any time. Complete navigability.
A holder for a handleless coffee cup. Stomach rumbling. The projecting prong on a tool or instrument. A mailbox with a protruding receiver to allow people to deposit mail without leaving their cars.
You don’t have to do anything with them, Marshall. They are just there for looks! Well, sort of….if you already use any of the “social bookmarking” sites listed, those boxes would make it easier for you to add Askville questions to your list. But, if you don’t use them anyway, and don’t want to start something new, then those boxes can just be ignored and thought of as some pretty new decoration on the pages here…
Your last sentence is very right–there are a way of bookmarking Askville on those various sites, and then other people can access your bookmarks and see what cool places you go to and how cool you are for doing it.
The coolest thing was pictures of piers at
They are strangely beautiful and I then explored the rest of- cool, cool site
The Question boxes now all contain the symbols for “del.icio.ous”, “Digg”, “Facebook”, “Furl”, “Google Bookmarks”, “Rededit”, “StumbleUpon”, and “Yahoo! Bookmarks”! I know what “Google Bookmarks”, “StumbleUpon” (a Firefox add-on), and “Yahoo! Booksmarks” are, but have no idea what the rest are or what we are supposed to DO with ANY of them! Is is some way of “bookmarking” Askville on various sites, or what? Thanks!
Just ignore them if you don’t use any of those sites listed.
i have been wondering the same thing!!
i’ll bewatching this question, i would like to know the answer too!
You put into it a series of things that you prefer to see on the internet, you click the “stumble!” button and it takes you to random places on the internet going with what things you preferred to see.
Can you figure out this site for me? I had stumbled upon it in stumbleupon.com?
I know that Stumbleupon can rate google results, but is there a way to sort the results by rating? Also, to be able browse the highest rated results would be useful.
No, you cannot.
The results come from Google, and then the stumbleupon plugin checks each website given and displays accordingly the rating. For you to sort it in order of stumbleupon rating it would be needed that google contained stumbleupon rating data and which would allow for some kind of sorting.
I’ve already spent way too much time jumping around this site. I’m afraid it can rapidly become addicting. There is such an incredibly wide variety of interesting stuff! Having said that, here are a few cool things I’ve stumbled upon…
Remember how you used to fold and cut snowflakes as a child? Check out to create your own snowflake. Each one unique; each one beautiful.
I am certainly not a math geek — I can barely add 4 digit numbers without a calculator — but the phenomenon of was fascinating. I won’t even begin to explain it here, but if you enjoy manipulating numbers, you’ll enjoy this. Pretty cool stuff.
Or how about the which not only has a history and online gallery of Ouija Boards, but also has a Spirit Board online which you can ask a question and receive your answer?
But the one I stumbled upon which I must include is a static site entitled.
The plain or ornamental covering on the end of a shoelace. The armhole in clothing. Spat-out food, such as rinds or pits. The bottom part of the nose between the nostrils. Small beadlike pieces of candy, usually silver-coloured, used for decorating cookies, cakes and sundaes. A dangling curl of hair. The metal band on a pencil that holds the eraser in place. The metal band on a pencil that holds the eraser in place. The small metal hoop that supports a lampshade. A 64th note. (A 32nd is a demisemiquaver, and a 16th note is a semiquaver.) Various squiggles used to denote cussing in comic books.
How do you find your way in an age of information overload? How can you filter streams of complex information to pull out only what you want? Why does it matter how information is structured when Google seems to magically bring up the right answer to your questions? What does it mean to be “findable” in this day and age? This eye-opening new book examines the convergence of information and connectivity.
How do I promote a site on stumbleupon?
I use the StumbleUpon addon to Firefox to find interesting stuff around the internet but today while stumbling my computer caught a virus from one of the links I visited. Thank goodness I had just updated my AVG and it got it immediately.

Hi dear
i Think advertising on stumble upon make lot of visitors to your site i think you should add ur site some earning money programs because u have so much visitors on ur site
It would be relatively easy for someone to create a virus which installs upon visiting a URL and then submit the URL to StumbleUpon which people would then get by being directed to the URL by StumbleUpon… Is there any way to protect myself from this, or is that the risk of using StumbleUpon?

I wouldn’t rely on this to protect you 100%, but Iuse the FF add-on Web of Trust that takes user ratings about things like privacy and security and uses them to “grade” websites. One of the settings lets you decide what you’re comfortable with; if a site is below my safety threshold, it prevents the page from loading until I manually bypass the block. (It also adds rating icons to searches, so if I google something, I know ahead of time what I’m clicking on.)
It’s not perfect, since someone has to actually score a website negatively before it gets caught by the filter, but it’s sure better than nothing!
Just interested to see what you think
Even my site is not in stumbleupon. I never stumbleupon it and I search for it on stumbleupon I never find it. So who is the Google Analytics shows this traffic???
What a great add-on! Thanks!
Yeah, I think that’s one of the most useful add-onsFirefox offers. Glad I could help!

Just by doing some simple surveys, you can earn points or cash. Points are used as credits and are used to buy visa, games, paypal credit and what not.
This isn’t a scam. It’s merely a way for companies to get consumer opinions.
The more u do the bigger cash offers will become so u start off with small 40 cent offers and later will be given 10 dollar offers or greater.
Everything can be done easily.
